In short
This website uses no cookies and no analytics or tracking tools, and loads no content from Google, YouTube, Facebook or other third parties. Fonts, images and videos are hosted on our own web space.
Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, on servers in Germany, under a data processing agreement. When you visit the website, the server automatically stores technical data (date and time, page visited, browser and operating system, referring page, shortened IP address). This data is used to run the website securely and for anonymous visitor statistics. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Contact form and email
If you write to me via the contact form or by email, I only use your details (name, email address, optional phone number, message) to answer your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention periods apply.
Email mailbox at AOL
Messages from the contact form and emails to me are stored in my AOL email mailbox. The provider is Yahoo EMEA Limited, 5-7 Point Square, North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, Ireland. Data may also be processed on servers in the United States. Yahoo bases this transfer on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. If you prefer to avoid this, please give me a call.
Links to other websites
The website contains links, for example to Google Maps and Amazon. Data is only transferred to these providers when you click such a link; their privacy policies then apply.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your data, to data portability and to object to processing. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Thuringian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
